about

The 4th album!

I'm in love with making chiptune and now that I've learned some of the wondrous techniques of chipstep, some of my song ideas can finally come to life!

I worked really hard on this (as well as a few Disasterpeace covers I worked on for fun on soundcloud) and had so much fun working on them.

I think I might have spent less time playing games than working on chiptune (a first!)

I'm slowly considering the possibility of doing not just game development with this on the side, but both at an equal.

I love making this stuff!

TRACK INFO:

Lapse:
Done as a commission. The project it was done for is not up yet but I'll link it when it's up! :)

Are You Ready:
I started using the speech instrument (40) in LSDJ and this was the result.

Chipstep:
This was my very first (minus Lapse because I thought it was solely on noise channel. Silly me :P) attempt at chipstep! If you enjoy it please give me feedback! As I love criticism! It allows me to grow as an artist!

Sunshine:
I wanted to sort of return to my roots of joyful songs like Fly from Stargate. I like soft melodic songs and this was another one of mine!

Death:
Ironic how this is after the above. Anyways, this is a cover of Disasterpeace's Death from the FEZ Soundtrack which I highly recommenced you not only listen to, but play the game as well. Both are the reason why I actually want to make games and chiptune!

Fire:
While playing the mission in Far Cry 3 where you burn all the weed, I heard the ear deafening sounds of skrillex (coming from the guy who made chipstep). And I thought, "Hey! This would be awesome if it was chiptune!" So I didn't make a cover.

Instead, I decided to keep the hardcore feel but give it my own personal flare (no pun intended). I try to keep song covers at a minimum of 1 per album (unless I really feel 2 should go in.)
